Our goal!

Science has experienced an increased interested in metal nanoparticles, which present differential properties if compared to bulk materials. The most striking differences are related to the optical properties of such nanoparticles, that lead to important technological and biomedical applications.

Our group is currently working in the fundamental investigation of plasmon supporting metal nanoparticles by experiment (spectroscopy) and simulations (classical electrodynamics) to unravel the effects of electromagnetic interactions among nanoparticles and the environment in the local field properties.
